NetShort Spicy Dramas, October 2026: 10 New Releases Worth Watching, Ranked by Real Follows

NetShort put about 500 new dramas on netshort.com in the first half of October 2026, and plenty of them have titles built for the click: Godfather, Your Wife Is So Wet, The Night I Became Her Bunny. Most of those barely have an audience. These ten do. They're the spicy October releases with the most follows, and six of them are BL (boys' love).

The numbers are as of October 16, 2026. "Follows" is the bookmark count on each NetShort title page. Shows added in the last week are still climbing, and the dates are when each title showed up in NetShort's catalog, since the site doesn't print release dates.

Don't expect much skin. The app is rated 12+ on the US App Store, so what you get is kissing, shirtless posters, implied sex and blurring, with no nudity. When someone on r/Vertical_Dramas asked whether an uncensored version of NetShort's biggest new show exists, the answer was "There isn't".

A lot of these are AI-generated, too. NetShort doesn't label AI shows on its website, but the one October pick with a full Reddit review was scored on its "graphics," and the Reddit thread for the biggest September show is tagged #AIVD (AI vertical drama).

At a glance

1. Claimed by Three Alphas

It's the most-followed spicy release of the month, and the fourth most-followed October release on NetShort in any genre. Karl is a powerless Beta with a dying sister. He steals a sacred fruit to save her, and it binds him to three Alpha heirs, who drag him into their elite academy "as shared prey," in NetShort's words. Later a vampire lord sells him at a black-market auction, and one of the three takes a bullet for him.

The poster, Karl shirtless with three pairs of hands on him, tells you what's being sold. The likes back it up. Among the 16 October releases with more than 50,000 follows, the typical one gets about one like for every nine follows. Claimed by Three Alphas gets one for every five, and only #2 below does better. People who start it seem to stick with it.

2. The Alpha He Couldn't Outrun

Added the same day as #1, same omegaverse setting, very different mood. Six years ago the Omega Hayden took money to leave the Alpha Jace and raised their son alone. When they meet again, a bitter Jace tells him: "You're for sale? Then I'll buy you." A DNA test eventually shows Jace has been hating the wrong man.

It's the only October pick with a full Reddit review, and the review is lukewarm. The r/ReelShorts reviewer gave it "5/5 for graphics… 1/5 for writing", mentioned "some inconsistencies/weird AI generation," and concluded: "Watchable I suppose, no ragebait, but you'll miss nothing if you skip this one." A commenter added that it "could have ended at video number 10 if they just talked honestly." Watch it for the look, or if the "I'll buy you" setup is your thing.

3. My Husband Hunts Him. I Share His Bed

This is the only straight adult-affair premise near the top of October. A war wound leaves Sheriff Hayes impotent, and he takes his shame out on his wife, Clara. Jack, a fugitive, breaks in to take back the gold mine Hayes stole from him, and ends up entangled with Clara. NetShort's synopsis: "What begins as a trade slowly turns into real love."

Almost nobody else in vertical drama is making Westerns, and this has the steamiest poster on the list. It reached 49.6K follows about a week after it went up. Content note: the setup includes a husband who abuses his wife.

4. Hired to Sleep With the Dragon King

Elena takes a job as the Dragon King's "sleep companion" to pay for her sister's cure, and the job is mostly literal: Arthur hasn't slept in twenty years. Before he lets his guard down she gets through brutal trials, saves a choking matriarch, exposes the woman who betrayed a princess, and tames the most violent branch of the family. At 30 episodes, it's the shortest of the top five.

Expect palace intrigue and a slow burn. It's here because 42,000 people followed it within a week. If you want heat from the first episode, start with #1 or #3 instead.

5. Unprescribed Desire: My Gynecologist Is My Ex-Girlfriend

Claire's marriage is failing, so her husband Dan takes her to a clinic, and the gynecologist turns out to be Maya, her college ex. NetShort's synopsis: "During the exam, eight years of buried feelings resurface and spiral out of control." It ends with Claire and Maya choosing each other, and at 36.9K follows it's the biggest sapphic release of the month.

At 61 episodes it's the longest show on this list, so it'll cost the most to finish. NetShort only tags it Second Chance and Modern Romance; the title and the poster do the rest.

6. I Taught a Siren to Court, Now I'm Carrying His Egg

For his thesis, Evan tracks down a deep-sea merman named Ebonni. While teaching him a courtship dance, Evan accidentally courts him. Ebonni claims Evan as his mate, and Evan ends up pregnant. 29 episodes, the shortest on the list, and the title tells you what kind of fun it is.

Don't mix it up with A Male Siren Fell for a Straight Guy, added October 13. It has almost the same setup (a marine researcher teaches a merman to court, and the merman takes it as a proposal) and 10.4K follows so far.

7. The Alpha Begged After I Became His Rival's Mate

Winter gives up the Alpha crown to bond with Damon, who promised him one true love. Damon showers him with money and cheats with his fated she-wolf mate anyway. Winter cuts all ties and disappears on the full moon; going by the title, he comes back as the rival's mate. It's the angstiest of the ten, and it has a strong like count for its size (8.3K likes on 32.6K follows).

8. The Alpha King's Fated Omega

Ryan, the second son of the Vance family, is bullied because he can't shift into a wolf. At the Blood Moon Gathering his brother steals his fiancée and humiliates him in public, and Alpha King Jax steps in, which wakes their fated bond. Expect betrayals, a near-death and a holy white wolf before they end up together. NetShort tags it Sweet Romance, and it's gentler than the posters around it.

9. Sweet Punishment: The Alpha Queen's Pet

Betrayed by her fiancé and sold off by her family, Lena is rescued by her ex-fiancé's mother, the werewolf Alpha Queen Selina, and signs a contract that makes her the Queen's "exclusive liaison." Then come a portrait in a dead wife's room, a conspiracy on the council, and a Luna bloodline waking up in Lena.

The title and poster (a masked woman at Lena's throat) point somewhere much kinkier than NetShort's own tags, which are Karma Payback, Rich Family Feud and Sweet Romance.

10. Help! The Lion King Knocked Me Up

The comedy pick. Oliver, a rabbit beastman, is "one hundred percent sure" he's straight until a lion king in heat, Leon Norman, forcibly "marks" him. He writes it off as a one-night mistake. Then he finds out he's pregnant, with triplets. It has the best like-to-follow ratio of the ten (7.4K likes on 20.2K follows), so the people who find it seem to enjoy it.

Also added in October

• Tracing Her Desire On My Body (Oct 1, 50 episodes, 16.9K follows). Sapphic. A delivery worker paying her mother's medical bills gets mistaken for a life-drawing model, and the painter Vivian Vance hires her as her private "canvas."
• Invincible Domain: From Loser to Ruler of Three Realms (Oct 10, 49 episodes, 23.8K). Harem fantasy. A bullied loser frees Lucifer and makes "steamy pacts" with an heiress, a demon-hunting saint and a succubus.
• Trapped in a Survival Game: Every Wife Makes Me Stronger (Oct 14, 30 episodes, 49.6K). Harem game: the hero levels up with every wife he marries. Light on heat, but it hit 49.6K follows in two days.
• I Dumped My Fiancé and Married His Mafia Friend (Oct 1, 38 episodes, 63.1K). A rushed marriage to a mafia godfather who has loved her for years. Sweet rather than spicy; more like it in the mafia romance guide.

September releases still climbing

NetShort's biggest numbers right now belong to late-September releases, and a few of them are spicier than anything from October.

Horror Game: She's a Monster, I See a Hottie (Sep 26, 51 episodes) is NetShort's biggest new show by a wide margin: 1.42 million follows and 104K likes, about two-thirds more follows than the runner-up. Arthur is trapped in a deadly wedding game at Ravenhurst Manor, and a "Romance Escape System" means he survives only by winning over the terrifying Bloody Bride, Lilith. It's more horror than heat, but the hook is flirting with a monster. One viewer on r/Vertical_Dramas: "It was really good, better than some real horror movies I've seen lately."

He Seduced Him In The Horror Game (Sep 21, 40 episodes, 33.3K follows) is the BL take on the same idea: Matthew, 18, survives a horror game with a "Succubus System" that makes every monster obsessed with him. On Reddit: "That was so sexy ugh" and "I hate how good that was."

Also worth a look:

• Naked Tide (Sep 24, 50 episodes, 102.3K). BL. Sailing-team rivals become stepbrothers.
• Five Alphas Want to Mark Me (Sep 23, 35 episodes, 71.4K). Reverse-harem omegaverse. A hidden Omega's pheromones send five Alpha stars into heat.
• Forbidden Love with My Rival (Sep 27, 32 episodes, 40.0K). BL. Hockey rivals become stepbrothers and have to hide it.
• Straight Until My Boyfriend's Sister Kissed Me (Sep 23, 40 episodes, 20.7K) and Dom Dutchess, Virgin Pet (Sep 25, 37 episodes, 18.7K). They're the two most openly kinky premises on NetShort right now, both sapphic Dom/sub setups, and both have small audiences so far.

Hot titles, almost no followers

These have some of the most explicit titles and synopses NetShort has added lately, and almost nobody is following them.

A low count doesn't prove a show is bad, and I couldn't find a Reddit review of any of these. But when every title starts at 2,000, sitting at 4,500 after two weeks means very few people have tried it. Her Secret Lycan King's synopsis promises a fake marriage that "quickly becomes real and spicy," and it still hasn't caught on.

Also, NetShort's Submitting to my ex's dad is a separate 40-episode show from the 57-episode ReelShort hit with nearly the same title, which I covered in the 18+ vertical drama guide.

One to skip: Pharaoh, I Quit Being Your Queen

I can't date this one, so it's not on the list, but it's the NetShort show Reddit warned people off this month. An r/ReelShorts reviewer gave it "5/5 for graphics… 1/5 for storyline" and the verdict "Avoid this like the 11th plague." In a separate r/Vertical_Dramas thread, a viewer summed up the plot: the pharaoh drains his queen's blood for his mistress, beats her, "rapes her - a big NO for me", and nearly drowns her.

Other commenters in that thread said it goes beyond one show: "the physical assault is getting worse" and "A lot of the scenes are 'rapey' and we're supposed to be ok with that just because the ML is hot." The picks above aren't free of it. My Husband Hunts Him starts with an abusive husband, and Claimed by Three Alphas is built on humiliation. If a synopsis bothers you, the show won't be gentler.

Before you pay NetShort anything

NetShort was the priciest app in my ReelShort alternatives comparison. Weekly passes run from $19.99 to $29.99, and its terms say subscriptions renew automatically 24 hours before they expire. Watch the free episodes first. If you do subscribe, turn off auto-renew in your phone's subscription settings the same day.

Reddit threads for nearly every show here fill up with mirror links. Those are unofficial copies loaded with ads, and none of them has scenes NetShort didn't make. My NSFW AI vertical drama guide covers the "uncensored APK" scams.

If NetShort's 12+ ceiling is the problem, no app in the store will fix it. The free AI drama generator on this site turns a character image and a motion prompt into a vertical clip, with no app-store rating to work around.
